The Gift of Singleness...

This blog has been set up because there are rumours circulating in Christian circles that singleness is not a gift after all.
How can this be?
This is what we have been told by our church leaders, it's in all the Christian singles books, and seminars on singleness tell us it's a divine gift that is equal to marriage.
Can it be true that there is actually no such thing as the Gift of Singleness after all?
